Website analytics

When enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and performance, such as page views, referral sources, visits and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed not to use analytics cookies, local storage or cross-visit fingerprinting to generate website analytics. The downloaded website files do not currently contain an analytics beacon; analytics will start only if configured for the deployed website.

Information not requested by this website

The KAANQ website does not offer a contact form, website user registration or website checkout. We do not ask website visitors to create an account, provide payment card details or submit personal information to an online form.

We may process information to operate and secure the website, understand aggregate site performance and use, respond to emails or support enquiries, investigate abuse, maintain business records and meet legal obligations.

5. App telemetry and product data

KAANQ applications may collect technical telemetry to help us operate, maintain and improve software. Depending on the particular application and features enabled, telemetry could include crash reports, error messages, application version, operating system or device characteristics, performance measurements and feature-usage events.

Any application telemetry is collected by an individual KAANQ app or its configured provider, not by browsing this website. The exact telemetry categories, any identifiers or personal data, the recipients, purposes, retention periods and user choices must be disclosed in that application's own privacy policy and store disclosures before the app is released. This website policy is not a substitute for an app-specific policy or the disclosures required by an application store.

We expect to use Cloudflare for website delivery, security and privacy-oriented website analytics, and Microsoft 365 or related email services for business correspondence. These service providers may process information necessary to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, users and infrastructure.

We do not use the KAANQ website to sell visitors' personal information or serve behaviorally targeted advertisements.

Website, analytics and email providers may operate systems in multiple countries. As a result, data may be processed outside your country or region. Where relevant privacy laws apply, we will assess and implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Retention

Business emails and correspondence are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, provide support, maintain legitimate business records or comply with legal requirements, and then deleted or archived in line with applicable retention practices. Hosting, security and aggregate analytics data are retained under the relevant providers' settings and policies. Any product telemetry retention periods will be described in the applicable app's policy. Specific retention periods must be confirmed before launch.

We use a website architecture designed to limit unnecessary collection and keep the public website separate from local development devices. We plan to use HTTPS and reasonable access controls for administration and hosting. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
